About DESG
We are dedicated to the economic revitalization of Delta State. The Delta Economic Summit Group is an inter-disciplinary community of professionals and policy advocates dedicated to the economic revitalization of Delta State. Over the years, DESG has achieved significant progress in the areas of research outputs, execution of programmes, seminars, conferences and workshops aimed at facilitating the formulation and implementation of social and economic reform programmes for the growth and transformation of the economy.

Seven Deltans Receive Unsung Heros Award For Community Development By Evelyn Okonma
The award was tagged the Unsung Heroes Awards, an Initiative of the Delta Economic Summit Group (DESG). In the words of the Group’s Director General, Mr. Ekenem Isichei, “The Unsung Heroes Award is an Initiative organized to recognize and encourage individuals that are contributing significantly to their local communities. “In DESG, we believe that recognizing everyday people is a critical ingredient for fostering noble behavior among indigenes”, he said.
